Dear Gerfried, The abook Debian package, which you are the maintainer of, has a few pending bug report(s) which include translation updates or fixes for po-debconf. Among these, #381362 for Catalan, which is the oldest. Some are fixed in experimental, but of course, given the free, they won't reach unstable.
Moreover, the Catalan file in #381362 announces to be UTF-8 while it is ISO-8859-1. I have prepared a NMU of abook, aimed at unstable, and fixing these 3 po-debconf translations. Attached is the NMU patch (it changes all PO files because I ran debconf-udpatepo just in case). Please tell me whether you prefer uploading this yourself or if you're OK with a NMU.
