Hi,

Would you consider preparing this package for experimental? I agree it
might be too much of a hurry for Sarge, but we can test if anything
breaks. 

Now, are you sure this implies an incompatible ABI? The version change
seems to be minor (although, yes, important functionality has been
added, so...)

>From a simple analysis, the only packages that directly depend on hdf5
are h5utils, mpb and tessa (maintained by you) the Octave suite,
kmatplot and python2.[234]-tables... It should not be too hard to
recompile them, in the most extreme case ;-) 

But of course, it is your call. I don't think that, even if I had the
Zori packages ready by tomorrow, they would be included in Sarge.
