*** Please type your report below this line *** In all gtk applications, when I use the mouse to highlight text in a text entry box, the selection will highlight momentarily, then disappear. If I drag the mouse to the right across some text, the right edge of the selection will move with the mouse cursor, but the left edge will catch up almost immediately meaning as I go, only one to two letters nearest the mouse are ever selected and the selection always ends up empty, unless I move the mouse *very* fast. I'd guess I have about half a second to get the text selected and release the mouse button before I lose the selection.
