I'm not sure if this bug really belongs to Splashy... Splashy uses libdirectfb to display the graphics. libdirectfb when it initializes, it reasds /etc/directfbrc automatically for you.
Have you tried passing the depth from the append= line in your grub/lilo config files? Check the README file inside /usr/share/doc/splashy for more examples on how to set your VGA. On 1/8/07, Beck <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
