What exactly do you do that provokes the bug? How do you know it fails to write the config file? What happens after the error message is printed? Why does failure to write this config file render the package unusable (that is, how does it prevent the rest of the functioning of the package)? Can you give me an exact recipe to recreate the bug, starting with an empty gnucash file, or with one you can send me? Thomas
