I've seen the problem since last week as well, and indeed traced it back
to the libglib2.0-0 upgrade (2.12.5-3, then 2.12.6-1). A downgrade to
2.12.4-2 fixes the problem, despite my early impression that it did not.

Besides the 14 assertion messages, and the notice that Finance::Quote
was found, I also get an extra warning:
gnucash: [W] "failure loading
""/home/pavageau/.gnucash/books/%2Fhome%2Fpavageau%2Fcomptes%2Fcomptes-euro.gnucash"
but I guess it's an old file with a format not supported anymore, that
has nothing to do with this bug.

Anyway, the bug might not be grave, but it's certainly annoying. I've
set up a number of reports, and aside from the fact that I now get all
those tabs at startup with no title and an error message inside, that I
can't get rid of for future startups (with an up-to-date libglib2.0-0),
I'd rather not recreate them all the time either. The window size not
being remembered is annoying too, but not as much.

I'd keep the severity to normal, but it's your call (I've seen the
modification while typing this mail). And is this a bug in gnucash or
libglib2.0-0 anyway?
