Hi Jörg,

I do appreciate the bug feedback -- but since this is a Debian bug
report, we have to deal with it in context of the packages available
in Debian, meaning wodim. I realize this is probably not a situation
you are happy with, and I do sympathize -- but the additional
advertisements for cdrecord vs. wodim are really not useful as a part
of this bug report.

If you want to have a private conversation on this subject with
Dmitry, I can certainly respect that. However, let's please keep the
bug report discussion limited to things that I can actually fix in
Debian.

Thanks,

KEN

Looks like you did not check the recent cdrtools......

libscg now maps ATAPI (SCSI over ATA) to SCSI bus numbers 1000 ... 1025

Have a look at the latest cdrtools at:

ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/cdrecord/alpha/

Note that recent mkisofs versions (part of cdrtools) include libfind and thus
allow you to use the find(1) command line syntax in the mkisofs command line
and that mkisofs now for the first time has backup stability and allows to
create 100% accurate copies (the first time in the existence of mkisofs).
