Frequently, when using Evolution with my Exchange mailbox, the backend evolution-exchange fails and crashes, and a dialog popup that Evolution has lost its connection to it. I can not debug this issue because I lack a debug build of all this stuff. Could you please tell me how to build & install a debug release of Evolution & evolution-exchange ? Sorry for the late reply. To debug evolution, install evolution-dbg and
evolution-data-server-dbg. There is no -dbg package for evolution-exchange unfortunately. To get that, you have to recompile yourself and disable dh_strip. Give me a hint if you want to try that. I am able to reproduce this if I cancel an exchange operation for example.
