Package: splashy Version: 0.1.8.1-3.1 Severity: normal Neither the progress bar nor F2 do anything during boot. (The debiansplash theme at least claims that F2 will switch to verbose mode. It doesn't.)
During shut down, the progress bar works. Well, sorta. If I've ssh'd into the box and run reboot, then it works well. If I pick the reboot option from the gdm menu, then the system switches to the text console and tries to draw the progress bar over that (rather than the real backround). The result is decidedly weird and unhelpful. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-1-486 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
