Package: ratpoison

Hello,
When installing Ratpoison via Ubuntu's Synaptic Package Manager,
GDM's session menu isn't updated to include Ratpoison as a choice.
I have tested this on both Ubuntu Edgy Desktop and Ubuntu Edgy
Alternate Editions. The version of Ratpoison included with Breezy
successfully updated GDM's session menu.
No special news is reported by Synaptic when installing:
Unpacking ratpoison (from .../ratpoison_1.4.0.dfsg-4_i386.deb) ...
Setting up ratpoison (1.4.0.dfsg-4) ...
An error does appear however when completely removing the package:
Removing ratpoison ...
rm: cannot remove `/var/lib/ratpoison/menu/*.menu': No such file or
directory
Purging configuration files for ratpoison ...
