Here I am again. Still being able to search my Gaim logs. Now I'm using
Gaim's beta4 and beagle 0.2.12.

I'm afraid I don't understand your answer very well. I don't think that
Gaim has ever stopped logging here, as I use the feature that shows the
previous conversation every time you open a new session with an user,
and that has always worked. Moreover, you can read in the quote above
that the logs have always been accessible through the file system.

As I also reported in my original mail, my logs seem to be indexed. That
or Beagle is creating a 1.8 MB PrimaryIndex for Gaim's logs out of thin
air. I have 16 MB worth of IM logs, so practically any single-word query
is bound to return a result from that set. However, no results ever come
up from my conversations in the GUI or beagle-query interfaces.

Feel free to contact me directly in Spanish (which I assume you speak,
from looking at your name).

Thanks,
