Package: arrayprobe Version: 2.0-2 When installing arrayprobe on a machine without any HP SmartArray controller, it will complain nightly via cron about the lack of any controller:
/etc/cron.daily/arrayprobe: CRITICAL no logical drives detected run-parts: /etc/cron.daily/arrayprobe exited with return code 2 I discovered this as we install the package by default in debian-edu (along with several other RAID checking packages) to make sure those with hardware raid have the tool they need to control and check their RAID system. Please change the cron job to keep quiet unless the required RAID controller is present in the machine.
