Package: mc Version: 1:4.6.0-4.6.1-pre1-3 Severity: important
After upgrade mc to version 4.6.0-4.6.1-pre3-1 we are no longer able to edit jar archives with mc. viewing the file with F3 works fine but if we press enter to edit the contents we just see an empty directory or several lines stat64("/tmp/test.jar#uzip", 0xbffff7d0) = 1 ENOENT (No such file or directory) in strace output. Reverting to 4.6.0-4.6.1-pre1-3 let us edit jar archives again. Well its enough to replace the the new /usr/share/mc/extfs/uzip script with the version from the older release. so we asume the security updates to this script cause the trouble.
