I've tried to open a .jar, and I had no problems. The files you sent where converted to DOS format, so I'm not sure of the version you used (my uzip has 14737 bytes). Could you send me a link to a small jar that I could download and that you cannot open ? Also, which zip/unzip/perl versions are installed ?
