Hello,

> Could you please send me the output of kdetv and xawtv (run xawtv with some

Attached you find the output of "xawtv -v 1" (debug-1).
The output of kdetv is:
        > kdetv
        ALSA lib control.c:910:(snd_ctl_open_noupdate) Invalid CTL

Note, that when first launching kdetv and afterwards launching xawtv
while kdetv is running, xawtv complains about the Xvideo port 73 being
busy (obviously), but also kdetv starts displaying the TV channel
(pretty garbled with coloured lines) in the small stripe that displayed
a statically coloured area before.

> Also I would like you to test the other video modes offered by kdetv to see
> if it those work. (You can change to video modes by the Video menu.)
There are no other video modes available. The Radeon AIW does not
support the V4L interface.
Also note, that under in the Audio menu only the entry that "no audio
mode selection is supported by the current device/sound" appears.

> > Besides I do not get sound in either xawtv or kdetv.

> You have to connect your TV card with the audio card.
I am aware of that, and everything is set up. I used to be able to get
sound (with xawtv) some years ago, so unless there was a hardware
failure, it must be a driver/software issue.

Best regards

Ben
