Package: boinc-client Version: 5.4.11-2 Severity: wishlist Hi there,
I think it would be a nice feature to have some sort of a logfile rotation, maybe using logrotate. As far as I can see the files stdoutdae.txt and stderrdae.txt are always growing so it might have sense to rotate them sometimes. Something like /var/lib/boinc-client/stderrdae.txt /var/lib/boinc-client/stdoutdae.txt { compress copytruncate create 644 boinc boinc daily delaycompress missingok notifempty rotate 8 start 0 } should do the trick.
