Hi Mario I'm trying to reproduce your bug. Could you provide more details on your setup?
Was the Postgres server on the same machine? Was it the same version as your client library (8.1.4)? How did you configure pure-ftpd-postgresql? - In particular, can you provide /etc/pure-ftpd/db (masking out any passwords, of course). Can you connect to your autentication db using psql? ... as well as any other information you think would be useful in reproducing this.
