Yeah; to be honest, the restriction would no great loss, as
texlive-lang-spanish is more or less redundant with tetex-base; I
tried to install it merely because I nominally could.  (I must admit
to being something of a packrat.)

That really depends on whether anything relies on finding it in
texlive-base.  Simply tightening texlive-lang-spanish's dependencies
should be safer, but still perfectly reasonable as far as I'm
concerned.

Thanks for the quick response, and for all your work on various
TeX-related packages; having maintained a large public TeX
installation in the past, I truly appreciate the Debian team's work.
(I'm afraid I don't have time to help aside from sending occasional
bug reports, though.)
