Package: apt-proxy Version: 1.9.35 Followup-For: Bug #319005 I think I've run into the same problem; absolute nothing got imported.
Also, the apt-proxy-import man page says to use apt-proxy-import /var/cache/apt/archives Should that include the "-r" option? I tried it both ways. I thought I would try apt-proxy, since I've had persistent problems with apt-cacher, despite the earlier claims associated with this bug. It may be relevant that I've been unable to get a clean aptitude update run. In particular, I get Get:7 http://debian.betterworld.us unstable Release.gpg [189B] Err http://debian.betterworld.us unstable Release.gpg Bad header line (I think I was getting errors about unstable while using apt-cacher too.) And Get:16 http://debian.betterworld.us etch/security-updates/non-free Sources/DiffIndex [14B] E: Unable to parse package file /var/lib/apt/lists/debian.betterworld.us:9999_secure-testing_dists_etch_security-updates_non-free_source_Sources.IndexDiff (1) I made a number of attempts, restarts, and reconfigurations along the way. I also wonder if the example for security-updates in the apt-proxy.conf is current; it looks funny relative to what I was using before. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.4.27advncdfs Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages apt-proxy depends on: ii adduser 3.97 Add and remove users and groups ii bzip2 1.0.3-6 high-quality block-sorting file co ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.4 Debian configuration management sy ii logrotate 3.7.1-3 Log rotation utility ii python 2.4.3-11 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-apt 0.6.19 Python interface to libapt-pkg ii python-central 0.5.5 register and build utility for Pyt ii python-twisted-web 0.6.0-1 An HTTP protocol implementation to apt-proxy recommends no packages. -- debconf information: apt-proxy/upgrading-v2: apt-proxy/upgrading-v2-result: -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
