Hi Daniel, You've mentioned in August that you are uploading the source for ipw3945 module to the archive. As of today, I cannot see anything ipw3945-related there, besides the non-free binary firmware package. Is there any progress with it? I recently got a laptop with this card, so I'd be willing to do the testing if neccessary.
Also, when I was setting it up manually, I've bumped into the problem with ieee80211 modules. When I've built the ipw3945 against the newer ieee80211 from the packages that you maintain, I was only able to load them using the modprobe's "force" option. I guess that's because new and old ieee80211 modules have some duplicated symbols, and even though the ieee80211 modules are updated to the new version, symbol information in kernel symbol table still corresponds to the old symbols, hence the problems.
