Regarding the first part of your report, ie. that pan no longer supports per-group threading: You are right, but that only constitutes a wishlist bug, since it is essentially a feature request. Regarding the second part, I am unable to reproduce with pan 0.112. Pane sizes are remembered across pan sessions.
