Thank you for your interest for building firebird2 on sparc. The above patch snipplet was modelled around the changes for i386/amd64 and sort of blindly applied to sparc too. This is now removed in the pkg-firebird svn repository. Does firebird2 packages build on sparc after this change? If yes, I'll be glad to initiate an upload that adds sparc to the list of supported architectures.
