This is the way info system works. You have an info file with several
nodes. Info will go to the top of the specified INFO file when invoced
like
        info binutils
but you can also go direct to a subnode by eg
        info gettext msgcat

You have two options:
* live with this
* bugger the writes of the respective docs to create du.info files
(wont happen, nobody will write single info files for any node,
this is what man is for)
* rewrite info (patches welcome) to recursively search all nodes
reachable from the top for a matching entry (could take a while,
if info has to open and read *all* info files on the system).

I am retitling the bug to the last option, setting it to wishlist and to
wontfix, as none of us will do this, and I am also sure that Karl will
not accept patches doing this.

Best wishes

Norbert

THURNBY (n.)
A rucked-up edge of carpet or linoleum which everyone says someone
will trip over and break a leg unless it gets fixed. After a year or
two someone trips over it and breaks a leg.
