Aehhmmm. Really? On these other distros, can you take a look into
/usr/share/info/ (or /usr/info/ or where the info files are) whether you
find
        du.info
?

Does info du show you the SUBNODE of the coreutils.info file or a info
file for du by itself?

I checked the source of current coreutils, those are the GNU coreutils,
and there is NO single du info file, only one big coreutils.info.

So I am really interested how other distributions find the node of du
when you type
        info du

I still stand to my previous email that this is the error of a missing
du.info, and not of info as a program. But we will see what the other
distributions do. Please send me:
- name and release of the distribution
- whether or not a du.info file is present
- whether of not `info du' shows up the du node in the coreutils.info or
  a separate du.info

Thanks a lot!

Best wishes

Norbert
