Package: eagle-usb Severity: normal The country names in the package templates are not the official country names in English. Trying to use the country names in their original language in probably not a good idea as you anyway cannot properly render them because you have to use ASCII characters.
So, "Espana" should be replaced by "Spain", "Polska" by "Poland" and so on..... Translators will take care of translating the country names when translating the templates. Please note that I found that bug while looking at the update needed to the French translation. If choices are changed, this will break translations. So, you do not only need to change the country names in English, but you mist also warn translators and ask them to update their translations. This can be achieved by first running "debconf-updatepo" after the modification of the templates file, then use the new podebconf-report-po from the po-debconf package. Please see its man page for the details of use. Please also note that I have posted a call for update in the French translation list for this package as the recently newly added template was not translated (which is a bit too bad for a package which targets a lot of French users). -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.9-1-686 Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to fr_FR.UTF-8) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
