Package: patool Version: 4.0.3-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
when trying to use shell completion for patool commands, meaning pressing the <Tab> key, the following error is produced. $ patool ex<Tab>-bash: patool.bash-completion: command not found -bash: patool.bash-completion: command not found -bash: patool.bash-completion: command not found -bash: patool.bash-completion: command not found -bash: patool.bash-completion: command not found Same problem on stable (trixie). Completely default installation. This makes patool very hard to use but doesn't break it completely, hence only Important severity. -- System Information: Debian Release: forky/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.17.12+deb14-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=C.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages patool depends on: ii python3 3.13.9-2 Versions of packages patool recommends: ii file 1:5.46-5 Versions of packages patool suggests: ii 7zip 25.01+dfsg-4 pn archmage <none> pn arj <none> ii binutils 2.45.50.20251209-1 ii bzip2 1.0.8-6 pn cabextract | lcab <none> ii cpio 2.15+dfsg-2 pn flac <none> pn genisoimage <none> pn lhasa <none> pn libarchive-tools <none> pn lrzip <none> ii lzip 1.25-4 ii lzop 1.04-2 pn ncompress <none> ii pbzip2 1.1.13-1 ii plzip 1.12-4 pn python3-argcomplete <none> pn rpm2cpio <none> pn sharutils <none> ii tar 1.35+dfsg-3.1 pn unace | unace-nonfree | nomarch <none> pn unalz <none> ii unzip 6.0-29 pn xdms <none> -- no debconf information
