the last update changed the service file to contain: Environment="BIRD_RUN_USER=bird BIRD_RUN_GROUP=bird" The quoting is not correct and fails to set two variables. This causes bird2 to no longer start when /etc/bird/envvars gets removed which it did for me during the update.
