tags 1084418 upstream pending thanks ihttps://gerrit.openafs.org/#/c/16639/ is the draft change upstream to add support for fuse3. There is some debate about whether/how long to provide an interim state that supports fuse2 and fuse3 before going to fuse3-only, though.
