sorry, this looks too dangereous ... ./usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/_snackmodule.so ./usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/_snackmodule.so -> ../../python2.4/site-packages/_snackmodule.so you cannot safely assume that the extensions are the same on every architecture for every combination of versions. attached is an updated patch (although it doesn't apply directly to the now uploaded version of newt).
