There was no action taken. The package was automatically removed from
testing since it was featuring a RC bug.

Please try to understand the mechanism: The package is not removed from
Debian. It remains in unstable. However, packages with some RC bug are
removed from testing to keep tesing in some releasable state. Due to
a big series of RC bugs related to CMake 4 this is currently happening
for lots of Debian packages and is not at all related to any ITS bug.

If you just upload the fixed package in Git it will migrate to testing
again. If you have time constraints and want me to do this I can
happily do so, I'm perfectly fine with doing the same for the smpq
package.

Kind regards
    Andreas.
