Package: cyrus-admin Version: 3.12.1-2 Severity: wishlist File: /usr/bin/sieveshell
Dear Maintainer, The 'sieveshell' utility is a useful client to upload sieve scripts to a remote IMAP mail server via the ManageSieve protocol. However it is currently included in the 'cyrus-admin' package, which pulls in most of the cyrus server components via the cyrus-common dependency, including /usr/sbin/cyrmaster, an init.d service, and a cron.weekly snippet for maintainance. I didn't intend to run a full cyrus server on my laptop, I just wanted to upload a sieve script to my remote IMAP server… :D (and it's a Dovecot IMAP server too!) If possible, please package /usr/bin/sieveshell in a separate package (or maybe along cyrus-clients?) so it can be installed separately.
