-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA512 Hi, the 48.0-2 upload dropped the ssh agent: "Stop building gnome-keyring ssh-agent in favour of gcr4 ssh-agent" After upgrading yesterday and debugging for half an hour why my ssh-agent was falling back to this, I found the root cause. This is a breaking change as users might depend on it. Please add a news entry that users should install gcr4 and use /usr/libexec/gcr-ssh-agent from now on. This might be my nice usecase since I am on sway; nevertheless, please document this. best, werdahias - -- System Information: Debian Release: forky/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 6.12.38+deb13-amd64 (SMP w/16 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: OpenRC (via /run/openrc), PID 1: init LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages gnome-keyring depends on: ii dbus-x11 [dbus-session-bus] 1.16.2-2 ii dconf-gsettings-backend [gsettings-backend] 0.40.0-5 ii gcr 3.41.2-3 ii init-system-helpers 1.68 ii libc6 2.41-12 ii libgck-1-0 3.41.2-3 ii libgcr-base-3-1 3.41.2-3 ii libgcrypt20 1.11.2-2 ii libglib2.0-0t64 2.84.4-2 ii libsystemd0 258~rc2-2 ii p11-kit 0.25.5-3 ii pinentry-gnome3 1.3.2-3 Versions of packages gnome-keyring recommends: ii gnome-keyring-pkcs11 48.0-3 ii libpam-gnome-keyring 48.0-1 gnome-keyring suggests no packages. - -- no debconf information -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iIsEARYKADMWIQQUWTv/Sl6/b+DpcW7svtu2B7myvgUCaKBwFhUcd2VyZGFoaWFz QGRlYmlhbi5vcmcACgkQ7L7btge5sr563QEAngFDzAjjHCMSQugv5rLpEH/YnwA5 6HbdgvlXuqZp/UkA/29AYE/zOeEoZinjpnGlAEACtvznxqCZ2V37n7eD2ZgG =zJez -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
