We found that this module was affected by #1109161 ie, that compilation
always crash once when a puppet manifest includes a firewall resource.
This was due to a bad import puppet_x instead of relative import. We (in
fact, Jerome did) found the way to patch it, but at the end, upstream
new point release is a collection of the patches I added myself. So, I found
that it should be a better idea to let 8.1.7-1 in Trixie, rather than a
heavily patched 8.0.0 version that's having the same fixes as upstream.

Can you provide a diff between the version in testing with patches applied and the version in unstable with patches applied? We don't have tooling yet to easily check replacing patches with upstream. Did you really apply all upstream versions as patches and nothing else is there between 8.0.0 and 8.1.7? You know, version numbers suggest otherwise.
