Package: scribus-ng
Version: 1.6.3
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?
I use Sribus Generator to produce parts of documents from template files.
Because the templates are not stored in the
same folder as the documents, I use KATE to replace the relative paths with
absolute paths in the .sla file before
running generator.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)?
The above works until the next time I change the .sla file in Scribus.

   * What was the outcome of this action?
Scribus always replaces the absolute paths with relative paths, forcing me to
re-edit the file using KATE.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?
I want Scribus to leave paths alone. It's one thing to assign a new path to,
for example, a graphic file, when I
first import it, and quite another to modify the path when I haven't touched
it. At the very least, Scribus
should respect absolute paths.

*** End of the template - remove these template lines ***
