Yes. That would be the way to go. I am open for suggestions. We should
probably allow the complete UTF-8 range (short of control characters) here.
Is there any update on this topic ? Can we still expect a change in
adduser before Trixie release ?
Otherwise, I guess everyone agrees that user-setup cannot be left as is.
A workaround may be to call adduser with the username in --comment to
make sure the user account is created, and set the actual full name with
chfn -f ?
