Source: wxpython4.0
Version: 4.2.2+dfsg-3
Severity: normal

Hi again Scott,

v4.2.3 should be uninterresting realese for most people, for SemVer,
for our Release Manager... but this one release is really important
for me because it includes my 1000-lines something Pull Request
that cleanse out the old Python2+3 legacy.

wxpython4.0 is now the top-1 by popcon remaining package still pulling-in
python3-six.

Proceeding to this upgrade in a timely manner will
help find even more undeclared usage of "import six"
that was before all over the place.

The trick with undeclared usage is that ... you don't know what will break,
so the other day plugins for the calibre ebook app broke.

These plugins are not even packaged in Debian, still we need
to support them.

So removing python3-six from wxpython4.0 now may
help find other missing runtime dependencies.

(the build-time dependencies are found by the FTBFS
happennign in the ~weekly global archive rebuilt)

Of course I will ever ask this only once.
Once Python2 legacy is gone, it's forever.

Greetings

Alexandre
