Package: thrift Version: 0.19.0-3 Severity: serious X-Debbugs-Cc: prav...@debian.org Control: tags -1 patch
Dear Maintainer, ruby-rack was recently uploaded to unstable during the ruby team sprint and we noticed autopkgtest for thrift is failing because thin decalres a dependency on ruby-rack that cannot be satisfied by ruby-rack 3 missing: pkg: package: thin version: 1.8.2-1+b1 architecture: amd64 unsat-dependency: ruby-rack:amd64 (< 3) thin upstream don't yet support rack 3 and we'd like to remove thin from the archive. Please switch dependency to another app server like puma instead of thin. Though I don't see thin being used anythwere else other than in debian/control. I tried building the package by removing thin from build dependencies and it built just fine. So please just remove thin from Build-Depends. -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.12.5-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=C.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled
