the commit which broke the things that made MR 137 necessary is this one: https://salsa.debian.org/debian/sbuild/-/commit/7e4c1404cc9c3fbbd788b18ed334eaa6be935fd6 So one other thing you might want to try is the version in unstable but with above commit reverted and see what happens then. If you do *not* see the issue without above commit, then we somehow have to investigate which variable is being set to its default value and thus breaking your buildd service... Thanks! cheers, josch
