and this does *not* happen with the sbuild version before? I do not have a buildd setup, so I'm afraid I cannot be of much help here. Adrian, can you confirm that the problem persists even with the changes from https://salsa.debian.org/debian/sbuild/-/merge_requests/137 Thanks! cheers, josch
