Package: psutils
Version: 1.17.dfsg-4build1
Followup-For: Bug #1002514

Some good news: after a lot of work from various patient and helpful DDs,
the most troublesome dependency of current PSUtils, namely libpaper2, is
finally in testing. (I am the maintainer of libpaper2, so this is all my
fault.)

I just checked, and the required Python dependencies, namely puremagic and
pypdf, are also available in testing at the required versions.

Finally, after a lot of waiting, the Python Packaging Authority finally
released the name “psutils” to me, so the PyPI package has the expected
name.

Hence, trixie would be an excellent time to get current PSUtils into Debian.

I would be delighted at that point to go through the BTS and check
currently-open bugs.
