I cannot even load a layout file. It just crashes from the command line with
no command line options.

I only installed it on a Raspberry Pi 5 (arm64). It is the only machine I have
Debian 12 on. I just installed it on a Raspberry Pi 4 (armhf) (running Debian
11) and the same thing happens:

fruitloops% xtrkcad
Segmentation fault

I even moved the ~/.xtrkcad/xtrkcad.rc away, in case that might be causing it.

5.2.0Beta2.1 is old and outdated. One of the beta releases of 5.2.0 was known
to have problems. There is an official release of 5.2.0 (dated 2020-11-06),
but 5.3.0 is current.

At this point I have installed a built-from-source xtrkcad 5.3.0 on my
Raspberry Pi 5 (arm64) and purged 5.2.0Beta2.1.

I don't have any running x86_64 machines.
