I disagree with your downgrade. There is nothing wrong with the CPUs. The CPUs are 4th generation EPYC processors from AMD. I included this text in the bug report:
If you could not reproduce the bug please contact me privately, as I am willing to provide ssh access to a virtual machine where the bug is fully reproducible.
