I don't mind if we try to remove entrypoints as a separate effort, but I disagree with wontfixing this bug; temporarily moving the *.egg-info directories aside so that pybuild doesn't remove them was quite easy once I figured out how, and it helps with more RC bugs more quickly than going around patching all the reverse-dependencies.
