I have a script to help me import mailed in po files that includes running `msgfmt --check` on the po file. Feel free to run that yourself; if you haven't that program on your system, its contained in the `gettext` package. Your editor with which you edit the po file might have similar (and or better) checks implemented, but I don't know much about po editors. Best regards David Kalnischkies
