(you forgot the ':' after Tags, so the bugreport wasn't actually tagged
and I suppose the BTS replied to you with a strange warning – just
mentioning as an explanation as to why)

Thanks for the update!

I see that some discussion of the update happened in a thread on
debian-l10n-italian:
https://lists.debian.org/debian-l10n-italian/2024/09/msg00002.html
That is good! I was about to ask if you asked for review –
its a good idea to mention that in the bug mail as my capabilities
of reviewing po files as an importer are rather limited, so having
it posted on the l10n team lists gives me some reassurance.

Sadly my italian isn't strong enough (read: non-existent) to understand
anything. Have you contacted Milo Casagrande (previous translator) and
preferably some reply like their permission to take over?

The provided po file sadly has some (trivial) mistakes:
$ msgfmt --check /tmp/mail.hEg8le/it.po
/tmp/mail.hEg8le/it.po:1980: 'msgid' and 'msgstr' entries do not both end with
'\n'
/tmp/mail.hEg8le/it.po:3208: 'msgid' and 'msgstr' entries do not both end with
'\n'
/tmp/mail.hEg8le/it.po:3222: 'msgid' and 'msgstr' entries do not both end with
'\n'
msgfmt: found 3 fatal errors

There are some "(ndt)" markers in the po file followed by what seems
like questions. Did you get answers for them already or is there
something we as upstream should improve regarding the message (or
regarding giving context to the translator)?

Best regards
