python3-pcl doesn't build with Python3.12: it throws many Cython errors. I looked briefly, and fixing them appears non-trivial, at least to those with no prior cython experience. Upstream is dead: https://github.com/strawlab/python-pcl And no obvious successor has stepped up: https://github.com/strawlab/python-pcl/issues/395 Do we want to backport fixes? Any Debian people adept at keeping this going?
