apologies for this. adequate 0.16 onwards is a complete rewrite, and while I've received a few bug reports since then, this is the first I hear of this issue, so thanks for the report. I can reproduce the loss of job control but not exiting the shell. anyway, 0.16.10 in experimental fixes the job control issue for me. can I ask you to please give that a try, and if the issue remains also share whether you've made any changes to the adequate apt hook. thanks again, Serafeim
