Upon further investigation, this was indeed erroneously merged with
1066328 as you'll find a complete rebuild will indeed result in a FTBFS
since this build was done before GCC-14 was implemented. Others are
reporting the same problem upstream and I'm finding the exact same issue
downstream. See
