| the configuration file would make the man page obsolete and out of

| page for inetd.conf doesn't list all of the services supported by

Hm. Although the values are configurable, it would be good if the default
values shipped with the program were mentioned. May I also suggest breaking the
sentence for easier reading.
SUGGESTION:
-T fs-type
Specify how the filesystem is going to be used, so that mke2fs
can choose optimal filesystem parameters for that use. The
values included in default install are: small, floppy, news,
largefile, largefile4. The exact values for current system are
configure in /etc/mke2fs.conf. For more information, see manual
page of mke2fs.conf(5).
