Well, it would be nice if the temporary directory was automatically created if it doesn't exist. But what I'd appreciate even more is if it would (or is?) possible to permanently set the -d switch, so that I don't need to type it every time. I've read the documentation about configuration files, but it seems this only relates to (La)TeX code, not to a configuration file for mk4ht/htlatex/... Did I miss something?
